JOB SUMMARY

The Email Marketing Specialist will report to the Digital Communications Manager on the Digital Marketing Team to create and execute responsive and personalized email campaigns to nurture the relationship of BC and BB customers using Salesforce Marketing Cloud.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Build, test and deploy email and SMS marketing campaigns, automations, and journeys

Ensure emails are efficiently coded and consistently rendering across email clients and devises

Utilize Everest email analytics platform to ensure email optimization and message deliverability

Develop email templates that align with Progress’ brand

Monitor email performance and deliverability to ensure optimal performance

Develop A / B Testing Plan for emails

Maintain external adhoc email and SMS monthly calendar

Adhere to email best practices, understanding of CAN-SPAM

Stay updated on latest email trends

QUALIFICATIONS

years’ experience in the creation, setup, and deployment of email marketing campaigns

Knowledge of marketing automation software, campaign creation, hands-on email development and data management

Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience preferred

HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

AMPScript

Applies process-driven thinking with a strong ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage multiple projects in an ever-changing environment

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to foster cross-functional collaboration

Self-motivated to work both independently and as part of a team

Excellent written and verbal communication

Superb organizational skills with a strong attention to detail
